Nelson receives war medal 

Keith Nelson, who served in the Korean War from 1953-1955, wears the Ambassador of Peace medal he recently received from the Korean Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. The medal was created to honor and thank Korean War Veterans for their service to the Republic of Korea. Gov. Pete Ricketts presented the medals to nearly 70 Korean War veterans at the Capitol in July. Korean War veterans interested in receiving one may visit veterans.nebraska.gov/korea for more information.
