PCCFF helps Westview purchase new heating/cooling units for apartments
Residents at Westview Retirement Community will be a little cooler this summer and warmer next winter thanks to new heating and cooling units to be installed in each room. The units will be purchased with money from donations, including a $1,000 donation from the Perkins County Community Foundation Fund.
According to Westview Administrator Amber Hilton, Westview sought to replace the 27-year-old units, installed when the facility was built, because they were becoming too costly to repair and maintain.
“These new units will be more reliable for our residents, and provide them with peace-of-mind that they will be comfortable all year round,” Hilton said.
PCCFF is excited to be a part of the ongoing effort to keep Westview a viable part of the Perkins County community.
