Like the rest of the world, Perkins County Community Foundation Fund has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the disruption we are experiencing is nothing like the loss of life, the loss of loved ones, or the loss of livelihoods that many are experiencing across America during these traumatic, uncertain days.

PCCFF has already contacted critical organizations in our county with an offer to help, including the hospital, school, senior center, food pantry, chamber, city, county, library and villages. We are able to make grants to help any of them that request our assistance. It is going to take all of us to get through this unprecedented time in our country—a time that has never been seen in our lifetime.

Not only is PCCFF here now to provide funds and support, but we are here for the long-term as well. The PCCFF Advisory Committee wants all Perkins County residents to know that we are praying for our county and country at this time, and we are looking forward to better days.

Intern Being Sought

Perkins County Community Foundation Fund is seeking a college intern to work with us this summer.

The intern must be a current undergraduate college student living in one of the Perkins County communities for the summer. They will become a part-time temporary employee of Nebraska Community Foundation. The right candidate who is chosen by PCCFF Advisory Committee will be charged with reaching out and building relationships with non-profit entities in Perkins County. The intern will learn about the organizations and share the goals the PCCFF.

The PCCFF Summer 2020 Internship position will be paid $13 an hour. The intern will gain valuable work experience, develop and refine skills, network with community members, gain confidence and interact with Perkins County Community Foundation Fund Advisory Committee members.
