Perkins County mystery author announces three new book releases

Nebraska author Patricia Bremmer has returned to her roots in Omaha after living in Venango, Nebraska, and is celebrating the release of three new books.

Best known for her nine-book Elusive Clue Mystery Series, Bremmer has launched the Quinn Carson Mystery Series. The first two titles are Fatal Co-op and Murder for Real. Lamar, Nebraska, resident Shay Martin, whose ranching background made him a natural choice, portrays Quinn Carson on the book covers.

Bremmer’s novels are set in Nebraska and Colorado. Her standalone thriller, Cornstalked, takes place in Perkins County, where towering cornfields become deadly for a group of arrogant hunters from Denver.

After taking a 12-year break from writing to help her husband, Martin Bremmer, grandson of Everett Watkins, develop the GrainGoat agricultural invention, Bremmer has returned to writing full time.

She also writes adventure novels for readers of all ages. Her newest release, Hoke, is a time-travel adventure set on the family’s century-old farm near Venango. Secret of Dragonfly Island became an Amazon bestseller, while Legend of Arterburn Lake, set in Lamar, Nebraska, blends local history, legends, and adventure.
