Saturday finals for Operation Tournament

After several weeks of elimination rounds, the Operation Tournament, being held by the Perkins County Health Services Foundation, will be down to the final four teams. 

Initially, the plan was to hold the finals at the fairgrounds Saturday night and invite the public to watch the fun. 

However, with the recent uptick in coronavirus, that plan had to be scrapped. 

Jackie Urdahl, foundation director, said it’s more important to keep people safe. 

As a result, the finals will be held at Arnold Insurance and will be streamed live on the foundation’s Facebook page. Arnold Insurance has hosted the tournament to this point.

Urdahl said the final elmindation rounds were held Tuesday night, bringing the field down to eight teams. That field was narrowed to the final four Wednesday night.
