Softball tournament raises funds for pool 

Five teams competed in the Fall Ball Classic Coed Softball Tournament on Saturday, Oct 20 in Grant to raise money for the Perkins County Pool Project Committee.  Players as far as Lexington were able to raise around $700. Hatch’s Super Foods and Adams Bank & Trust sponsored the event. The champion 1-Eleven team included (front row, l-r): Max Jones, Kyle Schulze, Travis Sullivan, Lorraine Ortega and Ben Jones. Back row: Alex Neiman, Andrea Jones, Jessica Jones, Casey Griffin, Jasmine Schulze, Jill Pelster, Jen Tjaden, Ashley Neiman and Brionne Griffin. The 308 team was the runner-up.
