Venenago bar and grill featured as February’s Business Spotlight

The Middle Of Nowhere Bar and Grill was honored as February’s Business Spotlight at the monthly meeting last Thursday.

Rodney Lousberg has owned the bar since purchasing it as “The Cactus Palace” in November of 2015.

Lousberg says the focus of his establishment is to serve beer, wine and spirits as well as food and noted that food has really become more of the focus.

The business has been leaning more towards a family setting and trying to get more people in to eat.

Middle of Nowhere currently employs four people and Rodney says once the business is paid off, he would really like to do some remodeling.

Lousberg also stated that in the future he would like to look at doing more dinner specials.

Currently, the Middle Of Nowhere offers daily lunch specials throughout the week.

The bar also offers several opportunities for a good time, most recently they held a Valentine’s Supper, and throughout the year they also bring in different entertainment. Updates on their lunch specials and upcoming events can be found on their Facebook page.

Middle Of Nowhere is located in Venango at 213 N.  Pennsylvania St. and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday’s from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday’s from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Their phone number is 447-5590.
