Volunteers needed for annual community Thanksgiving dinner

Plans are underway for the 2018 Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Grant, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 22 at New Life Fellowship Church.  

A traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at no charge.  Those attending may bring a side dish, salad or dessert if they are able.

The menu will include spiral ham, roasted turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, cranberry-pecan relish, dinner rolls, coffee, tea and lemonade. 

Volunteers are needed to cook the turkeys, deliver meals, and help with food preparation the morning of Thanksgiving. Those who are willing to assist should contact Jim and Star Kemling at 308-352-4314 or 308-353-0214.
