Wallace Walk for Life raises $4,368 

The three churches of Wallace joined forces in promoting and participating in the third annual Walk for Life, which supports the Women’s Resource Center of North Platte. The 43 walkers enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in Wallace on Sunday, May 5 for the two-mile walk. Many walkers participated in activities offered at the stops at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Wallace United Methodist Church. The walk began and ended at the Wallace Community Hall which is the base of the Wallace Community Church. The WRC will receive the $4,368 raised by the walk in addition to a selection of diapers and other supplies collected. The Center offers a variety of services for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
