Western Cattle Trail meeting March 27

The Western Cattle Trail of Nebraska is having its annual meeting at the Northshore Restaurant on Hwy 34 west of Trenton on Wednesday, March 27 at 5 p.m. MT. 

Supper will be available off the menu and the business meeting will start at 5:15.  

The WCT-NE will have a display at the Cattlemen’s Ball to be held near Enders Reservoir on June 8-9. The event historically has up to 5,000 people attending. 

This event is a fundraiser for cancer. Tina Kitt of Wauneta is the committee chairperson of the Cattlemen’s Ball and will give a presentation on the work needed to man the display. Volunteers are being sought.

 The changing of affiliation from the Great Western Cattle Trail Association to the Western Cattle Trail Association will be decided during the business meeting.
