Youth input sought for 2019 Perkins County fair theme

The Perkins County Fair board is excited to request the input from fair participants this year in deciding the theme for the county fair.

Youth ages 18 and under are encouraged to think of a theme they’d like to see celebrated at the 2019 fair, occurring the third week in July. 

Submissions will be accepted through Friday, April 12. The fair board will then vote on their favorite and the winner will be announced next month. 

The winning entry comes with more than the honor of choosing the theme for the county fair. The winner will also receive $25 Chamber bucks, a special spot in the fair parade, a coupon for a burger from the Lions stand and a coupon for a free ice cream. 

Entries should include first and last name and a phone number, and can be submitted to Fair Board Associate member Samantha Goff at the Grant Tribune Sentinel office at 327 Central Avenue, or via email to tribads@gpcom.net.
