Dale W. Jameson

Dale W. Jameson of Clearwater, Florida, who was born Dec. 15, 1923 as the youngest son of Charles F. Jameson and Neva C. (Cutler) Jameson, died on Jan. 14, 2022.
After being discharged from the service after World War I, Dale’s father homesteaded land near Yoder, Wyoming. Dale’s mother primarily stayed on the farm near Elsie, Nebraska in Perkins County and was active in the farming operation as well as raising her sons while her husband homesteaded the Wyoming land.
Dale, one of seven graduates from Elsie High School in the class of 1941, attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for a semester before returning to the farm near Elsie where he farmed for much of his life. As Dale never married or had children, Dale lived with his parents or surviving parent until his mother, Neva, died on July 18, 1999 at the age of 102, a day or two after she fixed Dale dinner for the last time.
Dale loved farm life, his family, green farm equipment and Chevrolet vehicles.
Dale began to winter in Florida with his parents in 1949 and continued wintering in Florida until he moved to Clearwater, Florida in 2008 where he resided until his death. Dale and his long-time friend, Elizabeth, enjoyed spending time together and dancing until her death.
Dale’s brother, Dwight Jameson and his wife, Mary Lou (Bower) Jameson, had three sons, Ray Jameson, Rory Dale Jameson and Darrin Jameson.
Dale’s parents; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight Jameson and Mary Lou Jameson; nephews, Darrin Jameson and Rory Dale Jameson; and friend Elizabeth, preceded him in death.
Dale is survived by his nephew, Ray (Deb) Jameson of Wallace and their son, Chay Jameson; great-nephews Mark Jameson and Luke Jameson (children of Darrin Jameson); and great-nephews and great-nieces Ella Mae Jameson, Robert Jameson, Ilene Jameson and Morgan Jameson (children of Rory Dale Jameson).
A memorial service for Dale will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1 p.m. MST at the Elsie United Methodist Church with Pastor Joey Flores presiding. Inurnment will follow in the Elsie Cemetery.
