David Pangus

David James Pangus, infant son of Devin Pangus and Jessica Linn Hahlweg, was born on April 13, 2023, in Ogallala, Nebraska, and entered the eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father after seven hours.

Despite his short time on this earth, Baby David touched many family members. He will be profoundly missed by his parents and family, who loved him dearly. His unexpected passing has left them with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss.

Though David’s life was brief, he will always be cherished and loved. He will be remembered as a beautiful and precious gift from God.

The family takes comfort in knowing baby David is also in the loving arms of his great-grandparents, Sherry Hardin-Netto, and David E. Pangus, along with his birthday buddy Copenhagen, right by his side.

Survivors include his parents, Devin Pangus of Wright, Wyo., and Jessica Hahlweg of Venango, Neb., Grandparents of Nebraska, and Wyoming, aunts, uncles, and many cousins that will miss him dearly.

A private family service will be held to honor David’s memory at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Venango, Nebraska, at 2 p.m.
