Death Notice: William Richard Kline

    William Richard Kline, 70, of Grant, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at the Imperial Manor in Imperial.
    Beloved father, brother, uncle, and companion. Graduate of Wakefield H.S. and the United States Military Academy at West Point. Long-time employee of the Omaha Veterans Administration, local sports scene, and Papillion resident.
    Preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer E. Welch; parents, Merwyn Kline and Angela Anne (Sandahl) Kline; stepfather, Robert Busby.
    Survived by daughter, Tiffany Long and grandson Magnus Long, of Grant; Mary Kline of Papillion; son-in-law, Dan Welch and grandchildren, Johanna “JoJo” Epp, Madeline Epp, Kennedy “Kate” Epp, Wyatt Welch and Barrett Welch, of Elkhorn; siblings, Kim (Debra) Kline of Papillion, and Jono (Joni) Kline of Omaha; stepbrothers Mike (Lou) Busby of Alaska and Kirk (LuJuan) of Colorado; along with many nieces, nephews, beloved cousins, other relatives, and friends.
    Arrangements are pending at the Bullock-Long Funeral Home of Grant.
