Roger Creasman

Roger Paul Creasman passed on Feb. 21, 2023, in Willcox, Ariz.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Sharon Creasman; daughter Adrianne Aguilera and granddaughters Amya and Aliana of Las Cruces, N.M.; son Andrew and Annette Creasman and granddaughter Lily of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter Amy and Steve Myers and grandsons Treyvin and Zerrik Harrington of Rio Rancho, N.M.; son Aaron and Amanda Creasman and grandkids Darin, Jaci and Willow of Bethpage, Tenn. Roger was born Dec. 8, 1939, in Indianola, Neb. to William (Bill) Creasman and Charlotte Powers Creasman. He attended Wauneta High School class of 1958.

He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1962. During his time in the Marines, he was part of the Marine Corp Rodeo team as a bull rider.

Upon his discharge in 1966 he remained in California until he moved back home to Nebraska to raise his family. He resided in Elsie, Neb. until 2003.

He then “retired” from the farm life in Nebraska to Cochise, Ariz. where he lived out his retirement years.

He was a lifetime member of the local VFW where he and Sharon were very active and attended regularly.

Roger was a true family man and a pillar of the community. The stories that we have heard from many members of the communities that he has been a part of speaks volumes to the kind of life he led and the kind of man he was. He did not have an enemy in his life and those around him were better for knowing him.

A Rosary will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Pearce/Sunsites, Ariz. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m.
