Celebrating Christmas early in Elsie

Children of Sam and Traci Lee of Elsie were a few of the kids who got to visit with Santa Monday night at the Elsie Christmas Open House. Pictured are (l-r): Brady, Thomas, and Hudson. Stores were open for shopping during the evening, and a pancake supper was served by the fire department at the fire hall. Donations, so far totalling over $2,000, were collected for the proposed playground equipment in Elsie. The drive was kicked off by the fire department, who donated the entirety of its free-will donation to the new playground. Those wanting to contribute to the playground equipment fund can donate at Pinnacle Bank in Grant.
