PCS speech team gaining experience toward final performances

Perkins County Schools speech team completed three meets preparing for the district meet in Maxwell.
PCS was one of 15 teams who competed in the Best of the West Speech Meet in North Platte Feb. 25.
Those placing in the Championship Finals:

As a team, PCS won 6th place at the meet.
SPVA Conference at PCS
PCS hosted the SPVA Conference Speech Meet two days earlier on Feb. 23 with seven area teams in attendance.
PCS won 1st place as team champions with 234 points.
