Wallace speakers earned third place at districts this year, qualifying them for the state speech competition. State qualifiers include: Angie Vasquez, Trey Robertson, Ashley Robertson, Ryleigh Hanson, Dajana Garrison, Kendall McClintock and Brylie Robinson.
Perkins County High School students were also preparing Tuesday, March 15, with public performances. Perkins County took top honors as District champs this year with 17 members qualifying for state speech competition. Members from Perkins County earning a trip to state were Meghan Bishop, Sophia Perez, Summer Postlewait, Kylie Tucker, Triston Hite, Jeb Kohl, Blake Dolezal, Caitlyn Dolezal, Ryder Potts, Maggie Fisher, Ava Reese, Kailee Potts, Selah Richter-Martinez, Ella Uehling and Gavin Smith.
