Lundvall only Wildcat on course at DCS

Extreme weather kept golfers guessing at last week’s Dundy County Stratton Invite outside of Benkelman.
Golfers, including Wallace’s Tyler Lundvall, faced wind gust around 40 mph and occasional sprinkles throughout the tournament.
Lundvall finished 28th overall. Teammate Ryun Sheets did not compete.
The meet was won by Perkins County, 375-392 over DCS.
PCS also had the top individual medalist, Zaybreon Hansen, who finished with rounds of 39 and 42 for a final score of 81.
Lundvall shot a 60 going out and 59 coming back in, totaling 119.
Wallace’s next meet is Thursday at Medicine Valley. The tournament will be played on Curtis’s Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course.
After the holiday break, the Wildcats will travel to Cambridge’s Cross Creek Golf Links for the Southwest Invite April 21.
The RPAC meet will be April 28 at Oxford.
