Nebraska Eight Man Football Coaches Association announces hall of fame class

Three coaches, and eleven players, including Madrid’s Larry Vlasin, have been named to the 2022 Nebraska Eight-Man Football Coaches Association Eight-Man Football Hall of Fame. They will be inducted during ceremonies to be held Saturday, June 18th at The Tom Osborne Sports Complex in Hastings, Nebraska.
Induction ceremonies will be held at halftime of the 45th annual Sertoma Eight-Man All-Star Game played at Hastings College. Kickoff for the game will be 6 p.m.

This year’s inductees include Michael Bayer, Howells, player; Casey Bender, Lindsay HF, player; Steve Borer, Brady, coach; Rod Brummels, Clearwater, coach; Steven Dent, Mullen, player; Mat Eikmeier, Howells, player; Dan Fox, NL-Scotia; Nate Froeschl, Falls City SH, player; Jim Gilbert, Table Rock, player; Orion Matthies, Overton, player; Tyler Paulsen, Dodge, player; Dennis Reese, Loomis, coach; Phillip Schroer, Lawrence-Nelson, player; and Vlasin, Madrid, player.
