Senior Mariah Gardner led Wallace in points, assists and steals during the 2021-2022 season.

Wildcats finish season 13-10

The Wallace girls’ basketball team will lose four seniors off its 2021-2022 team that went 13-10 and finished fourth in the RPAC tournament.
The Wildcats were led by Mariah Gardner. The senior led the team with 15.2 points per game, 75 assists and 79 steals. Gardner was also second on the team with 127 rebounds.
Senior Denay Pelster had 41 assists and 63 rebounds this season.
Ainsley Strawder played in all 23 games and pulled down 60 rebounds.
Jasmin Gardner battled an early season injury and was only available for four games.
Junior Karlie Finley saw action in all 23 games and led Wallace at the charity stripe and averaged double figures in scoring, 10.2 points per game.
Sophomores Kendyl Flaming, Reagan Pelster and Dajana Garrison also played key roles for Wallace.
Flaming finished with 126 rebounds, Garrison hit 22 three pointers and Pelster dished out 53 assists.
