Southwest was in Wallace last Tuesday night.
The Wildcats got off to a slow start, only making two field goals in the first quarter, but keeping the game within three points thanks to three free throws.
Trailing 7-10 entering the second quarter, Wallace put a dent in Southwest’s lead. Once more, the Wildcats only made two field goals, but their free throw shooting improved to 7-8 from the stripe.
Wallace erased a 18-19 halftime deficit in the third quarter. Camden McConnell scored all nine of his points in the quarter. Kolton Hager made his first field goals of the game, as well, to help Wallace take a 32-28 lead into the fourth.
Hager made a three pointer and all four of his free throw attempts in the fourth to give him a team-high 15 points in the 47-10 win.
Alec Messersmith scored six points in the quarter and finished with 12 points.

Wildcat Head Coach Eric Miller said the season has had some tough battles.
“Hopefully we are able to learn from each of them and put it all together going into postseason play,” Miller said.
Wallace wraps up the regular season Friday at 1-19 Creek Valley.
Miller said, like every game, the Wildcats will hope to do the little things right and take care of one play at a time against Creek Valley.
Postseason pairings were announced Tuesday.
The Wildcats are the third seed in D2-9 and will play second seeded Paxton (11-8) Feb. 22.
Medicine Valley (18-2) earned the subdistricts top seed and will play Brady (7-14).
As the top seed, Medicine Valley will host the tournament.
Miller said his team has been pretty fortunate this season on the injury front and it should be full strength heading into the postseason.
