Blood drive surpasses goal

The Elsie/Madrid Community blood drive that was held July 22 surpassed its goal set by the American Red Cross according to coordinators Michele Cutler and Rosalie Curtis!

The Elsie Legion Auxiliary prepared and served lunch to all the donors and Red Cross staff. Donors received a special t-shirt compliments of the Red Cross.

Reaching their gallon marks were Mary Harger, nine gallons; and Larry Biesecker 14 gallons.

Donating their time and resources were Marian Glunz, Jane Potts, John Cutler, Kara and Tammy Giesbrecht, Hi Line Co-op.

The Next Elsie/ Madrid Community blood drive will be September 23.
