Chavira named president of Pinnacle Bank

Pinnacle Bank welcomes their new Market President, Kevin Chavira, to Grant. He will oversee the leadership of the retail banking, lending and business development in Grant. Chavira is replacing Rod Cornelius, who is retiring after 24 years with the bank on March 31.
Chavira began his career with Pinnacle Bank in Imperial as a teller in 2015. He was soon promoted to personal banker in 2017 and again to loan officer in 2018. In early 2021, Chavira completed the Pinnacle Bank Management Trainee Program. Since then, he has been working as an assistant vice president and loan officer in Imperial.
Chavira has a degree in agricultural business from Mid-Plains Community College. He has continued his education with certifications in banking and ag lending from Community Banker University and Barret School of Banking.
While in Imperial, Kevin volunteered with the local fire department, chamber of commerce and Rotary Club. He looks forward to pursuing similar service opportunities in Grant.
Kevin is bilingual and he grew up in Imperial. His wife, Ashley, is a McPherson County native. They have two young children together. In his free time, Kevin enjoys golf, team roping and spending time with family.
