Cruising in style

Brent and Mary Deaver were cruising Grant in style in a 1964 Cushman Shark Nose Golfster that Brent and his brother Matt found in a local tree row and restored. Cushmans, with a 2-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission, were manufactured in Lincoln. This was one of approximately  20 vehicles participating in Grant’s Cruise Night Friday, Aug. 6, which brought a crowd of onlookers to enjoy the show and participate in the meal provided by the City of Grant and the Perkins County Chamber of Commerce.
