DATE CORRECTION: Movie showing in Wauneta includes Dist. 7 state school board candidate

    A showing of the movie, “The Mind Polluters” and an appearance by a NE State School Board candidate for this district is scheduled in Wauneta Sunday, March 6.
    The free moving showing is set for 6 p.m. in the Wauneta Chateau Theater, followed by an address from Elizabeth Tegtmeier of North Platte, a District 7 state school board candidate challenging incumbent Robin Stevens of Gothenburg.
    District 7 includes Chase and Perkins counties.
    “The Minds Polluters” showing is being coordinated locally by Vanessa Fanning of Wauneta, and hosted by The Protect Nebraska Children Coalition and Nebraskans for Founders’ Values groups
    Attendees must be at least 19 years of age.
    ”The Mind Polluters” was created by the efforts of grass roots volunteers, legislators and Christian academics to expose and stop the efforts of corrupt organizations and groups that infiltrate the nation’s school systems with pornographic and pedophilia materials, said Fanning.
    Including in the movie is footage of the Feb. 26, 2021 Nebraska Judiciary Committee Hearing on LB 282, the “Repeal Nebraska Obscenity Exemption.”
    It was filmed in Nebraska and Indiana.
    A free will donation will be accepted near the end of the documentary.
