Fair board says no to pool

Members of the Perkins County Fair Board voted against locating the new pool at the fairgrounds during their regular meeting Oct. 15.
Several pool supporters had approached the county commissioners about the possibility of locating the new pool at the fairgrounds.
Commissioners deferred, noting the fair board would first have to approve the idea.
No supporters of the idea attended last week’s fair board meeting.
