Graduating seniors receive scholarships from PCYDC

The Perkins County Youth Development Club has awarded their annual scholarships for 2022 to Perkins County graduating seniors.
Those receiving scholarships include Madelyn Ingold, Austin Meyer, Samantha Patrick, Emmerald Sims and Kylie Tucker.
Perkins County Youth Development Club is an organization formed in 1987 dedicated to promoting youth activities in Perkins County.  Money raised from catering customer/employee appreciation dinners, weddings, and banquets allow us to support our area youth.
Over the last 11 years the organization has provided $49,800 in scholarships to graduating seniors along with over $25,000 given to activities such as Boy Scouts, post prom, youth football, golf, youth basketball, soap box derby, and various other school and community activities.
Anyone having an appreciation dinner that requires catering service is invited to contact Dave Vapenik at 308-352-6260
“We look forward to serving your needs so we may continue to promote our local youth activities,” said John Woodmancy, scholarship chairman for PCYDC .
Anyone interested in joining the club, please contact Dave Vapenik at 308-352-6260 or Eric McCormick at 308-289-6281 for meeting time and place.
