Hampton wins quilt

Out of 74 entries, Daniel Hampton of Grant held the winner—claiming the prize of a quilt constructed by members of the Quilted Leaf Quilt Guild and given away during the Perkins County Fair Saturday, July 23.

The quilt was part of a display in the former flower building at the fairgrounds.

The quilt features 20 one-of-a-kind blocks, each depicting a house, and made by a different quilt guild members. The back of the quilt was signed by all members.
