Memorial wall to be installed in Wallace

The Wallace American Legion Auxiliary is spearheading a project for the construction of a veterans memorial to be located near the Wallace Legion Building. This memorial will honor the men and women who have served the country in times of war and peace.
The design is made up of a statement wall and the potential for a total of six brick walls. Each wall will hold approximately 100 bricks.
The project can be supported in the following ways:
• Purchasing veteran bricks
• Purchasing paver bricks which will line the walkway
• Sponsoring military branch flags and American flag.
Information and purchase forms are available by contacting Cindy Wickizer at 308-660-1941; Cindy Lundvall at 308-520-4453; or Diane Bryant at 308-530-2883
Additional fundraisers include a gun raffle through Memorial Day and a Cinco de Mayo dinner to be held at the Wallace Legion Hall on May 5.
