Perkins County 4-H and FFA beef weigh-in set

The second Perkins County 4-H Market Beef Weigh-In date is Saturday, Feb. 19 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Walking Seven Feedlot west of Grant.  
All Perkins County 4-H and FFA members planning to exhibit market heifers or market steers are invited to weigh-in, tag and identify their projects at this time.  
Any youth planning to exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair will also be required to collect hair samples for DNA purposes. There will be a handling fee for each animal identified to exhibit at these shows, cost will be paid online by the exhibitor.
If you cannot make it to the market beef weigh-in, call Debbie Kuenning, Extension Educator at the Perkins County Extension Office to make other arrangements.
