Wildcat volleyball team advances to RPAC semis

The Wallace volleyball team played for third place in the RPAC tournament Tuesday.
The Wildcats opened the tournament last Thursday with wins over Dundy County Stratton and Paxton.
Monday Wallace lost to Class D1 number two Maywood/Hayes Center in the semifinals and played Cambridge, Class D1 number one, Tuesday. Recaps of both matches will be available in next week’s paper.
Wallace started off the tournament with a win over Dundy County Stratton (0-27).
Wildcats’ Head Coach Krystal Sauser said her team played well and this allowed them to be able to sub some of the younger girls in to get some experience.
