One-weekend show features PC graduate

For one weekend only, the work of Perkins County graduate Amanda Osler will be on display at Meadowlark Gallery in Grant.

Visitors can see her show, entitled, “Discovered Creations” on Friday and Saturday, March 31-April 1.

Osler graduated from Perkins County High School in 2015, and is currently attending Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, pursuing an Associates of Fine Arts degree which should be complete this summer.

Over the last two years she has explored a variety of mediums—paintings, charcoal, colored pencil and photography.

“I put a lot of personal background and feeling in to the pieces,” said Osler. “Most of my work has been done under an educational level with some restrictions, but when able to I always want to incorporate something personal into them.”

Unsure of her future plans, one thing is certain—art will always be a part of her life.

Visitors are welcome to the gallery Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays over the noon hour.
