Perkins County dodges Winter Storm Quid

Perkins County dodged the brunt of Winter Storm Quid, which dumped 22 inches of snow in Alliance on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23 and 24, and affected much of Nebraska and the midwest.
Snow began falling in Grant on Thursday, making road conditions dangerous, causing the PC boys basketball subdistrict final in Sidney to be postponed to Friday, and Perkins County Schools to cancel school on Friday.
