Perkins County wrestlers finish second at districts
Five qualify for state

The Perkins County High School wrestling team finished as runner-up at districts and will send five to the state tournament this week.
This year’s district tournament was held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10-11 at Sutherland High School.
The Plainsmen scored 98 team points.
“This is the highest district finish in Perkins County wrestling history,” said Head Coach Dean Friedel. “The kids wrestled well—I’m proud of their efforts.”
