Midwest Electric presents donation

Larry Umberger (center), general manager of Midwest Electric, presents a $15,000 check to Perkins County Pool Project Committee members (l-r): Melissa Wilson, Connie Pofahl, Lisa Schmitt and Jana Turner. Midwest Electric and its employees are pleased to help support the Perkins County Area Aquatic Center with a gift of $15,000 towards the construction of the new facility. Midwest employees donated $2,500, and the Midwest Board matched their donation with another $2,500. The total of $15,000 was reach through matching grants of $5,000 through “Charitable Giving” funding from Basin Electric G & T of Bismarck, North Dakota, where Midwest Electric is a Class C member, and through CoBank’s “Sharing Success” program, a lender of Midwest.
