Deaver attends continuing education

Bernie Deaver, Perkins County commissioner, completed a two day workshop in Kearney on June 1 and 2, conducted by the Nebraska Association of County Officials.

The annual County Board Workshop, part of a continuing education and leadership development series, provided county commissioners and supervisors with over 12 hours of specialized training. Approximately 160 county board members and officials from across the state participated in the event.

The workshop addressed some of the more significant proposals currently being considered by the Nebraska Legislature and other topics pertaining to responsibilities and duties of county boards.
