PC elementary track and field day held

After an evening storm the night before left the track soaking wet, and with no sunshine and a high of only 59 degrees, track and field day on May 11 was a cold one. Participating students were bundled up in winter gear, and those waiting for their next event bundled up in blankets in an attempt to offset the chilly weather. Events included the three-legged race, sack race, long jump, softball throw, and the 25 and 50 meter dash (for the kindergartners only), as well as the 400 meter, the 100 meter, the 200 meter and a 400 meter relay for K-6 graders.
