Four Grant students on UNL dean’s list
Hannah Beck, Kaleb Gaar, Zak Kurkowski and Brady Mailand, all of Grant, were among more than 4,900 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students named to the deans’ lists for the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
Beck is a senior majoring in management in the College of Business. Gaar, a junior, is attending the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in computer science. Kurkowski, a junior, attends the College of Engineering majoring in agricultural engineering. Mailand is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering
Qualification for the deans’ lists varies among the undergraduate colleges. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum of 12 graded semester hours. Students can be on the dean’s list for more than one college.
College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Dean Joseph Francisco.
College of Business, 3.6; Dean Kathy Farrell.
College of Engineering, 3.5; Dean Lance C. Perez.
