Pool site buzzing with activity as clock ticks down

Temperatures back up in the 60s and 70s have aided crews resuming work on the new pool. Tuesday, crews with Brown Construction were pouring cement around the pool’s drain system, which was installed prior to winter setting in. The new sand volleyball area sits where the old pool was located (middle). Regier Land Improvement removed the top several feet from the pool walls and then filled it in with dirt. Workers can be seen all over the site, working toward a Memorial Weekend opening date.
