Wilson named to Aksarben royal court

Sydney Wilson, daughter of Melissa and Derek Wilson of Grant, has been named as part  of the Aksarben Royal Court for 2021. 

Wilson is among more than 60 princesses named to the 2020/2021 Royal Court for the Aksarben Foundation’s headlining event—the Aksarben Ball.

The 2020 ball was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This year’s ball returns to CHI Health Center in Omaha on Saturday, Oct. 23. 

For the past 125 years, the ball format has recognized many families for their contributions to their communities and Nebraska. 

Wilson is a senior at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, working on a double major in elementary education and special ed.
