BINGO night Thursday, Sept. 30

BINGO! That’s what attendees will be hoping for on September 30 when the Perkins County Chamber hosts a bingo night at the Perkins County Senior Center.

In an effort to support the senior center, the food pantry, and chamber businesses, the chamber board came up with the event idea.

The senior center will host a free will donation spaghetti supper from 5-6:30 p.m.

Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. and players will need to bring an item for the food pantry to get started. One item for the food pantry will get you one bingo card for the night.

“If you want to play three cards all night, then bring three items for the pantry,” Vice President Michelle Ross said.

Winners will be presented with greenbacks that can be spent at any Perkins County Chamber business.

“This will be a fun event for the whole family, and it will also benefit our senior center who will serve supper, our food pantry with entry ‘fees” and hopefully our supportive chamber businesses will see a little more traffic with winners wanted to spend their chamber bucks, which they have to spend in our community.

“We really try to do our best to come up with a variety of ways to support our community, and  this bingo night should be a great example of that!” President Samantha Goff said.
