PCS wins Quiz Bowl dual with Chase County

Monday evening the Perkins County High School Quiz Bowl Team hosted Chase County in a six-round dual. Perkins Co. had a great showing and went 5-1 on the night.
PC won round one 65-5, round two 55-35, round three 40-10, round four 100-0, round five 45-10 and lost 35-40
In total, six of the nine team members correctly answered at least one toss-up question.  
All members contributed to correct answers on bonus questions.  
Participating team members included Jeb Kohl (co-captain), Meghan Bishop (co-captain), Joe Malmkar, Alyssa Malmkar, Gavin Smith, Eli Busick, Meredith Gloy, Mason McGreer and Ryder Potts.  The team is coached by Deanne Bishop.  
Bishop thanked Jasmine Lehl, moderator; Don Softley, announcer; Don Harris, content judge; Myles Bishop, scorekeeper; and Lauren Bishop, scorekeeper, for volunteering their time to help run the event.
