Bingo, trick-or-treat street and open house; chamber plans made
Perkins County Chamber meeting was held Thursday August 15 with 9 members present.
• Chamber spotlight was James Deaver owner of Ride Rite Garage since 2009. The business does aliments, tires, oil changes, auto repair and can travel for repair. Moved to the old Dudden building in 2012 and has 9 employees. They are open M-F 8:00-5:00 and can be reached at 308-352-6234
• 4th of July had a great turnout! Thank you to everyone that helped make this a great event.
• Perkins County Chamber breakfast was a huge turnout 330. Parade had 35 participants with the winners Viaero, Perkins County Senior Center, and Lutheran Church.
• Drive in movies were “Migration” and “Cars”. Thank you to our sponsors Adams Lumber and Carlson Electric.
• Cruise night had about 30 vehicles cruising up and down Main Street. Ensz Hardware donated watermelon.
• Yard of the month was Kip and Juliana Bradley.
• Upcoming events will be Bingo on September 23 at the Perkins County senior center.
Bring food pantry items to help support the food pantry and play bingo from 6-8. Winner will receive chamber greenbacks.
• Trick or treat street will be Thursday Oct 31.
• Christmas Open House will be Thursday Nov 21st “Winter Wonderland”

• Viareo will be having a customer appreciation day Sept 27 8-11 am with donuts and coffee.
