PCHS receives Excellence Award

Perkins County Health Services has been recognized by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services as a 2024 Rural Provider Excellence in Quality Award recipient. The award was presented during the Nebraska Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics Quality Conference. The annual award honors the Top 10 overall performance in quality among Nebraska’s 63 Critical Access Hospitals.

The Chartis analysis percentile-ranks performance for each facility across nearly two dozen performance metrics and those facilities with the 10 highest scores are recognized with the Rural Provider Excellence in Quality Award.

“Nebraska’s Critical Access Hospitals are deeply invested in high-quality care, and are proud of the patient experience these facilities and their staff are delivering to rural communities across our state,” said Nancy Jo Hansen, Flex and SHIP Program Manager, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. “We’re delighted to be able to recognize the efforts of those who are setting the standard for hospital quality in rural Nebraska.”
