Celebrate Youth Art Month at the gallery
Spring is approaching, and with it, the annual opening event at Grant’s Meadowlark Gallery.
As in years past, youth art will be featured during the month of March.
Opening night will be Friday, March 7 with projects by Perkins County Elementary students led by instructor Michelle Snyder.
The show will conclude Saturday, March 15. Tristan Stephenson’s junior high and high school students will be featured the last two weekends of March beginning on Friday, March 21.
Following the March show, the 2025 season’s lineup includes jewelry maker and collage artist Kathy Truedson of Big Springs displaying her work in April; and Lauren Olson, art teacher and muralist of Garden County as the May featured artist.
In June, Nebraska Impact Artists, featuring over 25 award-winning Nebraska artists, will present a “pollinator show.”
August will have Bob Hall, a Nebraska comic artist, whose work was featured in Marvel Major books.
Muralist, painter and tattoo artist Breeanna Benton of Ogallala will display in September.
In October through November, all are invited to submit work for the second annual "black and white” show.
Meadowlark Gallery is located at 246 Central Ave. in Grant, and is open 5-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings.
