Boys golf finish second at home, first in Oshgosh

On April 22nd, Perkins County held a golf meet at Pheasant Run Golf Course. The weather was in favor with little to no wind and a high of 75. The team finished 2nd, scoring a 323. The Chase County team was the winner, scoring 314. Zaybreon Hansen shot a 70, 2 under, to win first place, which was decided in a 3 hole playoff. Cade Kroeker shot an 81 for 11th place. Oscar Boldt shot an 85 in front of Jet Peterson with an 87 and Myles Bishop with an 88. “We are trending in the right direction as we approach conference and district play. The goal is to be playing our best golf over the next month,” said Head Coach Mark Jolliffe.
Next the boys traveled to Garden County to play on April 29th. The team finished in first place with a 336.
Individually, Zaybreon Hansen took first place with a 73.
Oscar Boldt earned fifth with 83 strokes. Cade Kroeker came in just behind Kroeker in sixth place with an 85.
