Swesey and Andersen-McClintock receive degrees at CSC

Chadron State College (CSC) honored 245 candidates for bachelor’s degrees and 65 candidates for master’s degrees Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m. in the Chicoine Center. The ceremony can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/@chadronstatecollege/streams. 

Undergraduate senior Ella O’Brien of Chadron  offered the opening moment of reflection and graduate student Kylie Kempf of Carroll, Nebraska, offered the closing moment of reflection. The speaker for the event was be Charles Welch, CEO of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. Hometowns listed are those on file for the students. Honor graduates are as follows: summa cum laude: 3.9-4.0 GPA; magna cum laude: 3.75-3.89 GPA; and cum laude: 3.6-3.74 GPA.

Area students graduationg are Aidan Anderson-McClintock, of Elsie receiving a Bachelor of Arts and Jordon Swesey of Grant receiving a  Master of Arts in Education.
