What a great 4th of July celebration! Thank you to all the volunteers and fun events we had during the day, Grant Volunteer Fire Department, Evangelical Free Church, First Insight Eyecare, Perkins County FFA, Lauren Klima, Perkins County School Foundation, Youth Challenge Bible, Ride Rite Garage, Brent Deaver, and Matt Chandler-Smith. Thank you to everyone who donated towards the fireworks for 2026 $5,099.43 raised.
Chamber breakfast held during the Perkins County Fair had a great turnout 325. Thank you to all our chamber members that volunteered to help make it another successful morning. Thank you to the Perkins County Fair for putting on a fun week of events, concerts, and fun for everyone.
Drive-in movie held on July 23 was the Goonies. We had a good turnout and a beautiful evening. Butter and Bliss sold food for the evening and had a great turnout. Thank you to Blume, Butter and Bliss, In & Out Express Wash, Laber’s Mobile Maintenance & Repair, and Orpheus Music and Sound for making our Drive In movies possible this summer. Hope for 1 more movie this fall.
Join the City of Grant on Friday August 8th for Cruise Night. Free sloppy joes, chips, and drinks starting at 6:00 p.m. and cruise with your favorite vehicle at 7:00 p.m. parking in the Zion Luthern Church for others to view.
