Chamber seeks input for open house theme

Chamber Chatter - September 2025

Perkins County Chamber was held Thursday August 21 at the Perkins County Senior Center at noon with 8 in attendance.

Rebecca Heckman with the Perkins County Weekend Backpack Program came to visit with us about what all is involved with the backpack program.  They provide extra nutrition for kids in need over the weekends.  The program is run solely by volunteers and is funded by monetary donations.  Monetary donations can be dropped off at Pinnacle Bank or Elementary or JH/HS offices.  If writing the check please make out to PC Backpack Program in the memo.  You may also donate monetary items directly to the backpack account at Hatch’s Super Food as well donate your points at the register.  They have fundraisers last year with shoot hoops during basketball game, bingo afternoon, and silent auction items.  Members are Connie Mahnken, Alecia Einspahr, Jason and Ashleigh Noyes, Austin Reisig, Janet Huff, Val Foster, and Tara Nodlinski.  Friday September 26 they will be having a tailgate from 5-6:30 p.m. at Haenfler Field.

New Business:
